Located close to the Bellingham business district, this renovated hotel has new life after lobby and guest room updates. A2 Designs was successful in gaining variances from Brand Standards. The finished product created a unique solution for the front desk and lobby along with the guest room finishes.

Our team researched that legacy and translated it into a narrative expressed through bold finishes, architecturally informed details, and owner-inspired whimsy – breathing new life into this heritage hotel while honoring its past. 

This custom-branded hotel gives extended-stay guests a comfortable home away from home. The suites are designed for quick meals, remote work, and relaxation. The Public Spaces welcome guests for gathering and connection. Spacious layouts and a regionally inspired color palette create an elevated feeling while meeting brand standards and performance goals.  

This multidisciplinary team worked in tandem to update the hotel and marketplace at one of the largest truck stops in Portland – Jubitz Truck Stops.
